5 Tips To Locking In Clients Using Clubhouse
You’ve heard all the buzz surrounding that new “audio-only” social media platform, and now you’ve just gotten your Clubhouse invite to join….what next?
Clubhouse is a phenomenal tool for connecting with your potential clients, but you have to know how to leverage it to really make an impact. I’ve been leveraging Clubhouse in my social media strategy, and it’s been one of the best sources of locking in prospective clients! So today, I’m sharing with you 5 tips for leveraging CH to make real connections and score new clients:
As with any social media platform, you have to bring your knowledge and skills to the table by offering valuable information that listeners can take and implement into their business. Without providing value, prospective clients won’t know what you offer or how you can help them, so don’t hold back here.
Speak Up (Don’t Just Hang Out In The Crowd)
This one goes out to all of my shy followers – I completely get it! It’s tempting to hide out in the audience and not raise your hand, but you can’t share your value if you don’t speak up every once in a while. And when you’re ready to speak up, make sure you understand the expectations of the moderators for what is appropriate to share, and then raise your hand and join the speakers on stage! Speak on the strategies that have worked for you relative to your business or even throw in ways you’ve helped clients.
Don’t be afraid to open up. We’re all human. The more you show that vulnerable side of you – sharing your thoughts, feelings, opinions – the more others will feel connected to you and ATTRACTED to working with you. Remember, people love connecting with others that they feel really understand and get them.
Maximize Your Bio
So now that you’ve made the commitment to show up and SPEAK UP, you have to be prepared for the guests in the room to come check you out. Make sure your bio is fully optimized to welcome them in, but even more than that, make sure you include details so that they know where to go next. Your CH bio should include two things in the first few lines:
- What you do – What are your services, what do you offer, and how can they hire/work with you?
- What’s in it for them – How do you serve your audience, how can you help them?
The value and knowledge you have to offer is more appealing than the three cats you have at home. While you should include a little bit of your authentic personality in there, you always want to remember that you are speaking to your audience.
PRO TIP: Keep your bio in simple, broken spaces to make for easy reading and scanning.
Link To Your IG Account
This tip goes hand in hand with the one above, and answers “where do they go next?” Make sure you link back to your Instagram (or Twitter) so others know how to keep in contact with you and potentially work with you! Get them to move from Clubhouse to your Instagram where you can continue building a trusting connection and pitch your offer after building some rapport.
